Ruhut Sebut Partai Demokrat Adalah Partai Yang Demokrasi
Beritaterkini.biz – Berita Terkini, Waketum Partai Demokrat Syarif Hasan mengatakan partainya tidak akan mendukung Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) dalam Pilgub DKI 2017.
Ketua Departemen Polhukam DPP PD Ruhut Sitompul tak yakin dengan pernyataan yang dikkeluarkan oleh Syarif.
“Aku terakhir sama Pak SBY seminggu lalu aku tanya ‘Pak jadi siapa DKI-1?’, ‘sabar saja Pak nanti ada waktunya’, ucap beliau,” ujar Ruhut di Gedung DPR RI, Senayan, Jakarta, Senin (29/8/2016).
Ruhut berpikir mungkin saja Syarif juga punya tokoh lain yang akan didukungnya secara pribadi. Sehingga menyebut Partai Demokrat tak akan mendukung Ahok.
“Bisa saja, itu hak kan demokratis beliau. Namun hormati juga dong hak saya dukung Ahok,” ungkap Ruhut.
Dia mengaku tak takut dijatuhi sanksi jika tetap mendukung Ahok. Menurutnya SBY sebagai ketum bersikap demokratis dan menghargai perbedaan pendapat.
Ruhut lalu menuturkan alasan dirinya mendukung Ahok. Salah satunya adalah karena PD belum ada tokoh internal sekaliber Ahok.
“Kenapa aku dukung Ahok, Ahok itu independen. Kami pernah punya cagub pak Foke (Fauzi Bowo) pasca itu kalah, gubernurnya pak Jokowi dari PDIP. Sebelum Pilgub, Demokrat kursinya 33, sekarang tinggal 10. PDIP sekarang punya 28 usai Pak Jokowi jadi gubernur, lalu wakilnya inget loh Gerindra. Sekarang Gerindra ada 14. Kami dari 33 jadi 10,” ungkap Ruhut.
